It was a beautiful spring day for a wedding. Golzar and Jonathan tied the knot in a Persian ceremony surrounded by friends and family at the Sheraton.
We started our day with Jonathan and the boys capturing them getting ready and a few portraits. They laughed and goofed around as we found a few places around the hotel to do their photos. These guys were all a bit camera shy but they were good sports when it came time to smile for the camera!
We then went to check on the girls and found them to be mostly ready! We captured some detail images and did some pre-wedding dress images with Golzar (which I think turned out pretty hot!) All the girls had matching robes and Golzar requested a photo of all the bridesmaids on the bed.
Once the girls were ready we headed downstairs to do the first look as Jonathan was anxiously awaiting the arrival of his bride! I love giving couples time to just enjoy this time of seeing each other all dressed up as a bride and groom! They were adorable with only eyes for each other!
We decided to take photos at Humber Arboretum with the bridal party and got a few images in before it started to rain! However we were armed with umbrellas so the rain didn’t scare us away too quickly!
We decided to do the last few photos at the hotel in order to stay dry.
Soon it was time for our bride and groom to get married! The Persian wedding ceremony was filled with beauty, symbolism and love! In the blink of an eye it was over and the party got underway!
The evening was simple, food, drinks, dancing, fun and laughter. Good Vibrations kept the dance floor hopping and the bridal party and their guests had a blast!
We are so honoured to have been a part of this step in creating Golzar and Jonathan’s history!
