As a Toronto wedding photographer I truly love the beautiful affairs that my clients create!
Chris and Candice said “I Do” among friends and family in an intimate ceremony at Archeo in the Distillery.
Having spoken with them before the wedding I knew that they wanted lots of time to celebrate with friends and family during the reception. In order to accomplish this we decided to do their photos before the ceremony.
It was a rainy Saturday but this in no way dampened their spirits. Candice got ready in her uncle’s beautiful house with many rooms. It was a fitting rainy day photography location as it reflected the uniqueness of this couple!
We started the day capturing Candice, her maid of honour and her man of honour getting ready!
When Candice was ready we had time to create some beautiful bridal portrait of her and when Chris arrived we caught a few images of him alone while they waited in anticipation of seeing each other! Then it was time to do the first look! I always love creating a first look, the emotions, giddiness, etc… take over and the couple can truly enjoy taking each other in! I just love the reactions from both of them just before they see each other!
It was such a fun shoot having so many rooms and unique sets available!
Then it was off to the Distillery for family and full bridal party shots. Having set up their own photobooth corner with a disposable camera we were able to sneak in a few of our own shots!
The ceremony was simple and elegant, and Chris and Candice were able to mingle with their friends and loved ones immediately following the ceremony!
At this point the rain had stopped and we were able to sneak outside for some romantic and fun outdoor shots with our newlyweds.
With so many loving details contributed by friends and family, Archeo was tastefully decorated to suit Candice and Chris’ simple and elegant wedding! They had a few of their nearest and dearest stand up and celebrate them!
And they couldn’t wait to taste the cupcakes created by Candice’s uncle, dance together for the first time as husband and wife and toss the bouquet and garter to find the next people to get married!
And of course we had to sneak outside for a few of my favourite night shots!
We wish this couple a life filled with love and happiness!
