Elisa and Daniel are a super fun, loving couple and we’re so glad that they chose us to be their wedding photographer!
It was probably the hottest day of the summer when Elisa and Daniel got married but they didn’t let it stop them from having a great day. With an early ceremony time we started with the guys bright and early.
When we arrived at the grooms home the guys were in the early stages of getting ready. Having worked with Daniel a couple of times previously, once on their engagement session and once when he was the best man in a friends wedding we photographed, he was happy to do anything I asked. I found a couple of areas I really liked and had him get ready in those spots. As he channeled his inner James Bond we captured some uber sexy and manly shots!
After a few quick family shots and some fun with the groomsmen in the games room we headed over to Elisa’s where the girls were getting ready.
In the European tradition when we arrived at Elisa’s she had lots of family in and outside of the house! We found our gorgeous bride getting ready upstairs with her 2 sisters and maid of honour.
The baby of her family this was a big day for everybody! There was a lot of love, laughter and happy tears as she transformed into a bride! We’re sure you’ll agree that Elisa was stunning in her wedding dress from Impression Bridal. As our space was limited being a typical Toronto house we did most of her photos upstairs in the one room.
When it was time to leave for the church, Elisa and her Dad stuck to tradition. They walked out of the house together, cut the ribbon and got into the waiting car, the rest of the bridal party was taken to the church in the party bus!
When we arrived at St.Thomas Aquinas Daniel and the boys were anxiously awaiting the arrival of the girls and the start of the ceremony! Daniel watched in anticipation as all the girls walked down the aisle but the emotion truly took over when he saw Elisa walking toward him! At the hand off Mom and Dad hugged Daniel and the ceremony began. The emotion of the day presented itself in alternating laughter and tears during the ceremony from both Daniel and Elisa and their guests!
After a beautiful and emotional ceremony the bridal party loaded onto the bus and we headed to the McMichael Art Gallery for photos. It was so hot we were definitely looking for the shade and the guys were happy to not wear their jackets whenever possible!
After the Art Gallery we continued into the Village of Kleinberg for a few more photos mainly focusing on our newlyweds.
To escape the heat we jumped into one of the small pubs, which thankfully was pretty empty, to do a few more photos before we needed to head off to the hall and give the newlyweds a few minutes alone!
We arrived at DaVinci‘s and set-up for the evenings festivities. Soon the cocktail hour was underway with the guests making their way through the receiving line and photobooth. They mingled into the hall which was beautifully and elegantly designed by Right Choice Linens! Every detail was Elisa and Daniel’s vision! The theme, black and white with lots of bling!
Once the guests were settled in the hall it was time for the grand entrance! The energy as the bridal party entered was incredible! From the first dance to the last dance the night was perfect! Good food, good music (provided by Classy DJ) and the love of so many friends and family! It was so good that they had wedding crashers!
Elisa and Daniel pulled off a fabulous wedding. We are so happy that we could be a part of it and have enjoyed presenting them with their heirlooms in the form of a stunning album and wall prints!
