The day was sunny and warm with a slight breeze.
We started at the Sara’s home capturing her details as she got ready with her bridesmaids. Rather than matching bridesmaid dresses the girls each wore a style that flattered them in a rich and creamy shade of brown, perfect for a fall wedding!
The church was packed with friends and family! It was a ceremony filled with love, laughter, tears and a bit of sweating!
As with many cultures there were lots of families to capture with the bride and groom but with the help of their wedding planner the photos were done quickly and then it was off for the bridal party photo session!
The reception was held at Premiere Banquet and Event Center. The first event of the evening was the tea ceremony. The bride changed into a traditional red dress as they offered tea in exchange for gifts to their families.
Another quick change and the bride and groom shared their first dance before dinner was served.
Dinner was a 10 course meal, each course with some cultural significance.
Speeches, toasts with each table and parent dances took place between courses. It was a non-stop evening.
The final event of our evening with Sarah and Derek was cutting the cake and a celebratory glass of champagne!
